Traditional Ethiopian women's attire consists of long, floor-length dresses in white or beige, embroidered with extensive patterns and accessorized with a long piece of fabric called a netela, which serves as a waistband or shawl. This traditional attire symbolizes cultural identity and self-expression. Ethiopia is home to over 80 ethnic groups, each embracing diverse terrain and climates, each with its own unique traditions and styles of dress. The embroidery itself is mostly composed of geometric shapes and cross patterns, with the symbol of the cross, which is believed to ward off evil and misfortune; the patterns are bright and saturated, and full of primitive power. The gold and silver threads running through them not only add luster and color, but also have the function of exorcising evil spirits. Therefore, totems are often placed on the edge openings of clothes or collars to prevent the invasion of evil spirits.

Hand washing is recommended. As the fabric uses vintage embroidery thread, please be aware that dye may be released. Always use a neutral detergent, soak and hand wash, and dry inside out to preserve the color.
On weekdays, you can spray a large area with alcohol and let it air dry to complete the simple cleaning. Do not expose to the sun after spraying alcohol.

Most of our merchandise is vintage, used, or second-hand. Some are dead stock (NOS), but these items may have been manufactured for decades and may still have varying degrees of age.
All photos are taken from actual products and may cause slight color differences due to factors such as equipment and photo post-production. Product dimensions are measured manually, so there may be an error of ±2 cm.
All products are cleaned, pressed, and lightly repaired before shipment. However, vintage clothing will inevitably have irreversible marks due to age, purpose, and frequency of use. If there are obvious flaws or stains, we will specifically note them with photos or text.
If there are any issues such as condition, color, size, defects, damage, etc., please read the information on the product page carefully before purchasing and evaluate your own acceptance. After-sales service
If the product is damaged due to non-human factors, we will provide repair services, but the buyer must bear the shipping costs. If the product is damaged due to human factors or customized size modification, etc., the buyer must bear the modification costs and shipping costs. (We do not provide repair services for products other than our products.)
Return and Exchange Policy
According to Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act, in-store purchases are not subject to the 7-day acceptance period and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged. Online purchases are subject to the 7-day acceptance period. Returns or exchanges will be accepted for obvious defects not listed on the product page. Returns or exchanges based on size, color difference, personal preference, or differences from the product page will not be accepted. Please contact us within 7 days of purchase (including holidays). Returns or exchanges after this date will not be accepted.
